ELECTIONS 2022 - Why should you who live in the United States vote?

Miami has the main electoral college outside Brazil.

Have you ever stopped to think about the importance of your vote, even if you live outside Brazil, for Brazilian presidential elections?

According to a CNN analysis of TSE data, the total number of Brazilian voters abroad in 2022 exceeds the total number of voters in the states of Roraima (348,839), Amapá (529,240) and Acre (560,016).

The city of Miami, Florida, has the largest number of Brazilian voters outside the country: 35,722, which corresponds to 5.92% of the total. Next is Boston, also in the US, with 35,459 Brazilians – that is, 5.87% of the electorate.

In third is Lisbon, in Portugal, with 34,552. Other cities with more Brazilians are Nagoia, in Japan, – with 33,859; London, England (29,509); Tokyo, Japan (28,030); New York, USA (25,104); Porto, in Portugal (21,181), Milan, in Italy (18,629) and Paris, in France (18,628).
